Text Box: Home Inspection American Dream Home Inspection LLC. will provide you with a thorough, comprehensive inspection of your home (or prospective home). The inspection will be scheduled at a convenient time so you may accompany the chief inspector, Bob Riehle. This allows you to get a first hand verbal explanation of each area of the home. The inspection includes the condition of the foundation, structure, roof, electrical system, plumbing, heating and cooling system, and so on. Following the inspection a written report will be prepared using, state-of-the-art, software. The hard-copy report will be presented to you within 24 to 48 hours of the inspection. The report can also be faxed or e-mailed at your request. The report consists of a summary, which briefly describes the areas of the home that are good, show slight deficiencies, minor deficiencies, and significant deficiencies. The remainder of the report goes through a detailed description of each area of the home and includes digital photographs of highlighted areas. This device has multiple tamper detection features. Unlike easily tampered with, unreliable, less sophisticated, tin can test devices, the Radalink Telemonitor records hourly readings of radon, temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure over a 48-hour period. It is also equipped with a motion sensor that helps the professional ensure the EPA’s Radon Measurement Protocol is properly followed. Measurements are performed on the lowest ‘live-in” areas of the home such as a basement, the rooms above a crawl space or slab. The collected test information is transmitted to a central analysis facility where a detailed report is rapidly processed and e-mailed to both the inspector and the party who contracted for the service. If e-mail is not an option the report would be mailed. Radon is the #2 cause of lung cancer, after smoking, please get your home Radon tested!
